I have a few mixed feelings about this season...my son is a senior this year. This is his last ‘first-day’ of baseball. When his brother was a senior, I still had more seasons to look forward to because my younger son was entering high school the next year. With this one, it truly is the last season.
My life as a baseball mom started 17 years ago. My oldest son, Jesse, was only four years old (he would turn 5 before the August 1st deadline!) I didn’t know much about this sport. And thus, I began to "Learn Baseball, Live Baseball, and Love Baseball".
We are a baseball family! Beside our home team Eagles, we love the Astros (and the Braves -- that's for you Jesse!)

And hopefully in a few years, we will come full circle and enjoy watching the grandbabies play ball!

There is NO way he is a senior...no way! They grow up way too fast!
Yes, in just a few years your baseball life will resume, until then Walker signs up for t-ball again this next week! You can always come watch our slugger if you miss it too much!
Very true mom! This isn't the end - just a 3 year break...so take advantage. You'll probably need it because there is no telling when it will end again!
