Pulpwood Queen

I read in the paper this week about a book club called the Pulpwood Queen's. It was started by the owner of Beauty and the Book (hair salon and bookstore) in Jefferson. The book club began 8 or 9 years ago and has grown to have over 240 chapters! They have an annual Convention in Jefferson every year (next weekend) and it just looks like so much fun! I have already talked to a few of my friends and I think we are going to start our own chapter! According to their website, the requirements are a $25 one time fee, read the selected book each month and meet to discuss, and you have to wear a tiara to your meetings!
